Nativity

Abstract

These sculptures depict Mary and Joseph and once formed part of a Nativity scene. Mary and Joseph would have flanked baby Jesus. Both sculptures are in poor condition: they are heavily damaged by insects, paint has chipped off, and some parts of the sculptures have broken off. They are currently displayed at the Museo Santa Chiara in Naples. Photograph(s) licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
