Remarks-The marsh on the west side of the Great River Cataraqui is underwater every spring and during the last summer and at present is underwater, owing to the rising of the water in Lake Ontario. The Military Reservations are coloured with Lake; and the unlocated part of the town with green being [about 35 acres].
"This Plan is copied from that of the Surveyor of the Midland District the late Alex. Aitken but it is apprehended that the Northern Boundary of the Military Reserve will fall on, or near to the dotted line a.b. as it appears by the plan delivered by the late Surveyor Genl. of the Province of Quebec in the year 1792 to Lieut. Govenor Simoce. signed W. Chewett, L.S.G."
