Abstract
This fragmentary statue in the Casa Museo di Rodolfo Siviero was a part of a group of 11 terracotta works in Siviero's collection that formed a crèche scene. (A fragmentary sculpture of St. Joseph from the same group is also currently housed in the museum.) The costume and the pose suggest that this may be a depiction of an angel. The elegant swaying pose indicates a likely date of the early sixteenth century. Photograph(s) licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
